NARAC is a consortium of regional groups that serves to bring together the interests of all regional-based admission counselors who are serving their colleges and universities as remotely based professionals.  Any regional is welcome to join NARAC, although most members of NARAC are affiliated with at least one regional group.  Those without Affiliate Regional Group connection can be part of NARAC as at large members.

NARAC has a governance system that allows each formed Affiliate Regional Group to designate one of its members to serve on the council for NARAC.  Currently that would create a council of 24 members with space for an at-large council member.
